Caring for plant babies a.k.a. houseplants can be a rewarding and enjoyable experience, but it's important to know the specific needs of each plant in order to help them thrive. Here are some general tips on caring for various common houseplants:

1. Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum):

   - Spider plants prefer bright, indirect light but can also tolerate low light.

   - Water your spider plant when the top inch of soil is dry, and make sure to drain excess water to prevent root rot.

   - Fertilize with a balanced houseplant fertilizer every 2-4 weeks during the growing season.

2. Snake Plant (Sansevieria trifasciata):

   - Snake plants are very low-maintenance and can thrive in low light conditions.

   - Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.

   - Fertilize with a half-strength houseplant fertilizer every 2-3 months during the growing season.
